The debate of climate change, not long ago termed Global Warming, rages on. We’ve heard arguments from both sides and it’s safe to say that the yelling and screaming will go on for some time.

If you’re a fan of winter, you might find it interesting that a similar debate raged in the 1970’s, except this was about Global Cooling.

Never heard of it before? Popular Technology.net writes “During the 1970s the media promoted global cooling alarmism with dire threats of a new ice age. Extreme weather events were hyped as signs of the coming apocalypse and man-made pollution was blamed as the cause.”

The accompanying video from 1978 features none other than Leonard Nimoy, better known as Spock.

Regardless of which side you take, cooling or warming, it most likely can be agreed that the climate is all about change and the arguments may never end.
