We Need Your Input
ACSA has entered into a Cooperative Agreement with the Federal Highway Administration to develop and operate a Snowmobile Safety and Access Resource Information Center.
One part of this project includes identifying:
(1) New snowmobile safety and access products which should be considered for development
(2) Existing products needing revision or updating. (All existing products be viewed at www.snowmobilers.org
Depending upon priorities and available funding, these products could be developed over the next one to three years through this Cooperative Agreement. Please help us identify needs and priorities for future product development or revision. Click here to take a short survey.
Your input is vital to the success of this project. Tell us what is needed. Your participation in the survey is appreciated!

Friends of Snowmobiling
As you know, 2012 is a huge political year at the national level. Friends of Snowmobiling is “THE” Political Action Committee that represents the interests of you, the snowmobiler. There is only one fundraiser held annually – at the International Snowmobile Congress. However, contributions can be made to FOSPAC anytime throughout the year with personal checks.
If you are planning to attend the ISC in Massachusetts in June, please plan to join in the fun and support FOSPAC. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 5th in the afternoon.
For details and the registration form, click here.
Corporate contributions can be made payable to Friends of Snowmobiling and can be sent to: FOS, 1640 Haslett Road, Suite 170, Haslett, MI 48840.
November will be here before we know it. Many fundraisers will be held for candidates across the country and it’s important that they know snowmobilers are involved.
As you may recall, the Senate passed a 2-year transportation bill out of the Chamber. The House passed a four-year transportation bill out of committee. We are currently operating under an extension through June, although the House has passed an extension through September. Confusing? Yes. A House-Senate Conference Committee has been named. This Committee has met and will continue to meet. They have many issues to work out and a very short time frame. We will keep you updated as they move forward.
