Molly Miller recognized as 2015 Junior Snowmobiler of the Year

This young leader is heavily involved with SAM and the Bernardston Gill Leyden Snowmobile Club.

Often spotted volunteering at SAM events, Molly Miller typically spends dozens of hours annually setting up and tearing down everything that goes into the Sled Expo weekend.

A founding member of the Future of SAM youth organization, time is also found to support the club by selling raffle tickets and helping with the many events.

No one seems to like entering all the data from trail passes into a membership list but Molly takes on that task.

As a member of her community, Molly travels to a local elementary school once a week to teach kids Spanish. She also has gone after school to her “old” elementary school to help her 6th grade teacher prep kids for MCAS.

This high school senior was recently sworn into the US Air Force Reserves and will be leaving for bootcamp in June. She will be attending Franklin Pierce University in Ringe, NH this fall, studying physical therapy.

The Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts is extremely proud to present the 2015 Junior Snowmobiler of the Year Award to Molly Miller of the Bernardston Gill Leyden Snowmobile Club.

Promoting Club Membership and SAM:
Molly was a founding member of the Future of SAM. She has worked the Sled Expo for many years. She has been instrumental in organizing, setting up, running and tearing down the “Kid Zone” each year. She is there Friday through Sunday, working all the time. This year there was a serious lack of helpers, so she, her niece, and a friend, pretty much ran the Kid Zone show for two solid days. Without her efforts there would not have been a “Kid Zone.” Yes, Molly is all about supporting snowmobiling and SAM.
