Bill and Joyce Taylor of the Knox Trail Sno-Riders were presented the 2013 Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts Family of the Year Award. Bill and Joyce have been active in SAM for decades. Combined they have held the office of secretary, vice president and president on their club, sometimes for multiple years.

They enjoy volunteering, doing whatever needs to be done. Whether it’s sharpening the chain saws, building bridges, managing trail permits and memberships, assisting with safety courses, cooking at events, trail work, poker runs, club picnics, and swap meets.

They have attended several ISC’s across North America and were volunteers at ISC in Sturbridge. One of them has been the Club delegate to SAM for over ten years.

Thousands of snowmobilers meet them every year at the Expo, they are like icons when it comes to the Club and SAM. They are truly ambassadors of Massachusetts snowmobiling… hands down.

They are also often described as fun-loving characters, a trait they wear proudly. They have one of the most uniquely decorated front yards, the centerpiece being a vintage Ski-Doo on permanently display!
