Are you between the ages of 12-19? Do you enjoy riding snowmobiles? Are you interested in meeting new friends that enjoy the same hobby as you? Do you want to help shape the future of snowmobiling in Massachusetts? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, then joining the Future of SAM would be perfect for you!

The mission of the club is to teach us lifelong lessons, such as public speaking, leadership qualities, voicing opinions, holding events, raising and managing money, all while having fun. We have been meeting regularly on the first Thursday of every month at the Clarion Inn in Northampton, starting in September and ending in April (we have been meeting in a separate room while your club’s SAM delegate meets in another). However, sometimes it can be difficult getting everyone together on a school night. So, we are working on new ways to hold our meetings.

We have many fun activities scheduled, such as participation in SAM’s annual Sled Expo, participation at the BGL swap meet, a family snowmobile ride, etc. Do you have an idea for a different event? We’d love to hear from you!

Speaking of family snowmobile rides, we have one coming up! Please come and join us for our Family Snowmobile Ride in February! We will have lunch, activities, and of course we will go riding! It’s an easy and affordable way to spend a day with your family and friends! Everyone is welcome to come! We are hoping to also use this event to collect food for the local food pantry. Watch the SAM website for details.

Interested in joining the Future of SAM or do you have any other questions? Don’t hesitate to e-mail me.
