The Snowmobile Association of Massachusetts recognizes the legislative accomplishments of Representative Stephen Kulik, 1st Franklin District. His reputation, combined with his record of public service, is defined in his honesty, integrity, and effectiveness for the people of Western Massachusetts.
Representative Kulik was presented the award by Randy Toth at the SAM Annual Meeting.
In his 20 years of service on Beacon Hill his legislative focus has been on economic, environmental, and land conservation. He has been a true champion for the interest of Massachusetts snowmobilers in the areas of trail access, trail safety, and the interest of vintage snowmobile enthusiasts.
Prior to serving on Beacon Hill, Representative Kulik served on the Worthington Planning Board and was elected as Hampshire County Commissioner. He also served as a member of the Board of Selectman in Worthington for 12 years. He was past President of the Massachusetts Selectmen’s Association, past President of the Massachusetts Municipal Association, and currently serves as Vice Chairman for the House Committee on Ways and Means.
