Snowmobile trail work and making them better is a year round project for Paul Sokoloski of the Conway Snowmobile Club. Smooth trails are in his mind all summer… long before any flakes fly.

He is always thinking about the trails all year long grabbing pipes, timber, and supplies and any chance he gets. Stock piling it, so it’s on hand when the club needs it.

Paul has designed and built several groomers and drags, often using his vacation time to plan the next project.

The use of his heavy equipment has made the trail system 100 times better than it was 10 years ago. He opens up his garage so that club members can work on groomer equipment inside a heated shop.

His stance is: Build it bigger, make the trail straighter, make it smoother. If there’s a problem area, find a way to go around. He applies countless hours of work towards making the trail system better.

Paul is a cook at club events, a SAM delegate, trail master for the club and so much more. You can’t put into words or dollar amount what his annual donations to the club, and the sport is.
