Yamaha beat everyone to the punch by unveiling their 2015 snowmobile lineup weeks ahead of what was expected, introducing four new Viper models. The SR Viper R-TX LE, the SR Viper L-TX LE, the SR Viper R-TX DX and the SR Viper L-TX DX.

Of particular interest to those in the northeast is the 2015 SR Viper R-TX LE with fuel injected Genesis 1049cc, 4-stroke triple propelling a 129 inch track. The sled features all the equipment of the existing Viper R-TX SE plus premium Fox Float 3 EVOL RC front shocks and Dual Shock SR 129 Race rear suspension.

The new 2015 SR Viper L-TX LE is the long track version but equipped with 15 x 137 x 1.75-inch Camoplast BackCountry track and a few shock changes.

The SR Viper R-TX DX is a Viper-based solo touring sled, the 2015 SR Viper L-TX DX is the long track version. Both are much like a Arctic Cat XF CrossTour but with heated seats and tall windshields. A two-up seat is available as an accessory.

All of these sleds wear new Deep-Keel Tuner skis which Yamaha designed to track straighter with less darting. Each keel has its own wearbar, Yamaha has four different bar configurations to tune your sled’s cornering bite and steering effort to suit your personal preference.

All the 2015 Yamaha snowmobile specifications are posted at yamaha.com
