How old do I need to be to ride a snowmobile? The last time we reported on the age restrictions was almost a year ago, but things have changed since new regulations went into effect this year. This updated chart gives an easy to understand overview of how old a rider needs to be and what type supervision is required. (Here is the old chart for comparison) A safety course isn’t mandatory but many clubs offer them and are highly recommended. A free online course is even available.
